01Do you take my insurance?

We file claims for dental PPO and indemnity plans, and we check your benefits before your first visit. Whether we are in network depends on your plan, so call us and we will tell you before you book. Our fees page lists how each plan type works here.

02What if I don't have insurance?

You pay the fee for each visit, and we give you a written estimate before treatment starts. Financing is offered by third-party lenders. Approval and terms are set by the lender.

03Do you accept Medi-Cal or CHIP?

Call us and we will tell you plainly where we stand, and point you to an office that can see you if we are not the right fit.

04Will it hurt?

We numb the area before we start, and you can raise your hand for a break at any point. Most people feel pressure rather than pain. Tell us what you feel and we adjust.

05How often do I need X-rays and a cleaning?

Your dentist decides, based on your health and your history. Many patients come every six months, and some need a different schedule.

06What is a deep cleaning?

It cleans below the gumline when an exam shows buildup there. Your dentist or hygienist shows you what they found, explains the steps and gives you a written estimate first.

07Do you see children?

Our dentists are general dentists and see adults. For young children we can refer you to a pediatric dentist.

08What counts as a dental emergency?

Call 911 for trouble breathing or swallowing, or swelling that spreads to your face or neck. For a broken tooth or sudden toothache, call us and we will tell you what we can do and when.

09Do you offer sedation?

Ask us when you book. Your dentist explains what is available for your treatment, who provides it and what to expect, before you decide.

10Can I get a written estimate before treatment?

Yes. After your exam your dentist lists the treatment, the visits it takes and the fee. Ask at scheduling or at your visit.

11Do you speak Spanish?

Our team speaks English. If you would like an interpreter at your visit, tell us when you book and we will do our best to arrange one.

12How do I cancel or change a visit?

Call or text us as early as you can. We will find a new time that works for you.
